SECURITY & DATA HANDLING

Clear controls for sensitive financial data.

Reconca processes client-provided data to prepare state-ready tax reports. Our current workflow is designed to limit data collection, control access, and preserve human review before submission.

CURRENT APPROACH

How information moves through Reconca.

01

Excel and CSV uploads

Clients provide exports from their ERP or accounting system in Excel or CSV format. Reconca’s current workflow does not require direct access credentials to the client’s financial system.

02

Purpose-limited processing

Uploaded records are interpreted, mapped, harmonized, and checked for data integrity and quality. Reconca uses the information needed to prepare the tax reports and forms included in the agreed service.

03

Controlled access

Access to client data is limited to authorized personnel involved in report preparation, validation, and support. Client files, tax data, and completed reports are not displayed publicly.

04

Retention and deletion

Retention periods and deletion arrangements are confirmed with each client and reflect the agreed service and applicable obligations. Clients may request deletion when information is no longer required, subject to legal or contractual requirements.

05

Human review before submission

Reconca provides the completed tax documents to the client for review. Reports are not automatically submitted to a tax authority as part of the standard workflow; the client reviews and approves them before submission.

CLIENT CONTROL

Your team stays in the approval loop.

Reconca prepares and validates the reporting documents, then makes the completed set available for client review. Your team remains responsible for approval before submission to the relevant tax authority.

E-submission support may be separately agreed where permitted by state law and included in the service.

This page describes Reconca’s current service approach. Specific security, retention, deletion, and submission commitments are defined in the applicable client agreement.
